Anti-Social Behaviour Officer (ASB Officer)
£40,500 per annum – Permanent – Full Time – Hybrid (2 Office Days per week)
This is a great opportunity to join the Housing team at Wandle Housing Association. We’re looking for a highly proactive and community focused individual with high quality customer service skills to join as the Anti-Social Behaviour Officer to support tenants and provide community safety across Wandle and our neighborhoods.
You will deliver a proactive service that includes investigation, prevention, partnership working and, where necessary, enforcement action.
What you’ll be doing:
· Manage an ASB caseload taking direct ownership ensuring that every contact with the customer is recorded and to provide specialist advise, guidance and support in respect of Anti-social Behaviour and complex cases.
· Develop appropriate responses and solutions to ASB working in partnership with internal and external teams and co-ordinate implementation
· Take responsibility for service-related complaints/enquiries from customers, to ensure that the customer experience is positive, professional and responded to in set timescales.
· Construct a robust evidential base for legal action ensuring that the provisions is clear, coherent and well detailed while also, identify risk escalation at the earliest possible time to ensure that customers are safeguarded.
What we are looking for:
· At least three years’ experience in anti-social behaviour, community safety and a tenant facing role.
· You will have a working knowledge of all legislation involving the management of ASB and an understanding of safeguarding and confidence recognising and escalating concerns appropriately.
· You will have the ability to adapt yourself to different stakeholders to ensure you can de-escalate tense situations and promote positive outcomes
· Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
· Full UK driving licence and access to a car is desirable
· Must have good IT skills, proficient in Microsoft packages and confidence using new systems, with experience of CRM or case management systems being advantageous (Dynamics system experience would be a plus)
